NOTE: Please read the Master Funding OpportunityAnnouncement (attached below)for complete details on evaluation criteria and application preparationinstructions.SUB-AREA OF INTEREST: 4B Fuel Processing - Alternative Reforming ConceptsApplications are sought for the development of alternative or novelreformingconcepts for improved processing of diesel fuel for use with SOFC?s.Conventional reactors are typically single, fixed-bed catalyst systems thatarecompact in design. Alternative technologies are encouraged (e.g.,pre-reforming, pre-treatment, plasma, cool-flame, etc.) that would moreeasilyallow for the processing of coking-prone diesel fuels alone or incombinationwith steam reforming or other standard techniques.
